Scottish Stained Glass and Altar’d State

Did you know that Scottish Stained Glass recently completed work for national retailer Altar’d State? Not only did we just wrap up a massive project for this retail location, but we completed the whole thing in just two weeks time!
We’re extremely proud of our team for their efforts on this project, and incredibly grateful for our partners at Altar’d State. This project was truly a team effort, and required the time and energy of everyone involved. We’re so glad we got the opportunity to partner with Altar’d State a second time, and look forward to our continued partnership.
Retail Stained Glass for Altar’d State: About the Project
Our latest project for Altar’d State was such a success; we couldn’t be happier with the results. This was our second time working for this retailer, and we’re extremely grateful that they picked us yet again for another project. This time, we created a custom piece for their new location in Norwalk, CT, and ended up designing and manufacturing a 12-foot long ceiling feature.
About Altar’d State
Altar’d State is a faith-based retailer with locations across the U.S. Their shops feature modern, trendy clothing for women as well as a variety of accessories. Each year, the company opens up a new store in a new city, and is growing rapidly.
Creating the Stained Glass
Creating the stained glass for this project was by no means easy, but the results made it more than worth it. Because of time constraints, we had to create a 16 panel feature in less than two weeks time. The stained glass needed to be fully installed and presentable for the store’s grand opening, so we set to work right away.
We put our best craftsmen on the job, and devised a creative solution that would allow us to work faster than normal. To expedite the process, we had our team members working on both sides of the piece (interior and exterior) at the same time. We also created custom frames that would give the feature a curved piece, and allow it to fit into its designated place in the ceiling.
Once everything was finished, our owner, Martin Faith, flew out to Norwalk to personally install the stained glass himself. Martin worked round the clock to make sure that the project was completed on time.
In the end, we were thrilled with the way this project turned out. The stained glass looked stunning in its new home in the Norwalk store. And our partners at Altar’d State were pleased that the finished the project on time. We can’t wait to see what our new partnership has in store for the future!
